5/5 The house is in a beautiful location with a great view. Close enough to everything on the lake. The house itself is immaculately presented and has everything you could need. The price was fair for a week in the height of summer and the house can comfortably fit 6 people. We loved this house. August 2024

4/5 Very nice house with a well thought out floor plan, breathtaking views of Lake Millstatt, large terrace, very well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, the house itself simple, stylish and modern. There were 5 of us: 2 kids, 1 teen, 2 adults - the room layout was great. About a 20-minute walk to the lake, with children often more through a narrow, steep, partly unpaved road + intersection of a busy road. In my opinion not suitable for children with bicycles (too dangerous down, too strenuous up). The Millstätter See itself is top - with several bathrooms: Sittlinger with more action, Tschinder a little quieter and more spacious - or just jump directly into the lake if you only want to swim comfortably and sporty and not necessarily need further infrastructure. Many great hikes in the area at over 2,000HM: Granattor, Mirnock (both accessible via a toll road) we tried.

5/5 Wonderful! We had a wonderful stay with our 3 children aged 9,8 and 5! The house is fully equipped, such as a well-equipped kitchen and spacious cupboards for all our (sports) equipment. The house has spacious rooms, comfortable beds and it was very clean. There were even detergent and dishwasher tablets. The great terrace has a spectacular view of the lake. Recommended! July 2024
4/5 We really enjoyed our vacation with friends in Haus Claxton. The surroundings, the view from the house and the peace and quiet were fantastic. Very nice neighbors. Unfortunately, there were no comfortable seats on the terrace (e.g. more than two loungers) to be able to enjoy the summer comfortably on the terrace. The two loungers would also need to be replaced, they are no longer the newest. More seating in the basement would also be recommended, for reading or similar, unfortunately there was only an old bench here that was not clean. A television could be installed in each of the bedrooms, as interests sometimes differ when there are 6 people. In the bathroom, the shower hose was missing from the bathtub. Coat hooks in the bedrooms would also be recommended. Otherwise, we don’t want to complain, because it was a great vacation. July 2024
5/5 A very nice, modern and well equipped house with a great view of the lake. Fiona is a reliable house landlady. We would rent the house again. The only thing that may still be missing are loungers for the garden. July 2024

Washing machine pads and dishwasher tablets are provided. All very complete. Beautiful view from the large terrace and balcony. The house is cleverly designed with bedrooms on the lower floor (cool in summer) and allows direct views of Lake Millstatt. Everything is very high quality. Very clean, very well furnished with kitchen utensils and easy communication (in English) with the landlord. The house is located in Starfach very close to Döbriach with beaches and restaurants. Many sights such as the Granatium and hiking destinations are easy to reach." August 2022
